Fuan runs a silver plated brush through long, layered locks of ebony colored hair. Each dark strand glistens in the morning sun as delicate slender fingers follow, sweeping down in every new stroke's wake. Absently he stares at his reflection through the richly carved gilded mirror set before him, the pitch of his seeing eye taking in a face so different from his own. Those foreign features that used to surprise him so, slow to become familiar with each day that passes him by.

Gorgeous <3 I love this shot. It looks so natural and kinda sad, like he's hiding his face instead of the scars.

Can I ask how you did these? I take it they're raised instead of carved? It looks so effective <3

Wow. This is a stunning shot - the burn scars are insanely realistic, and the smoke off the cigarette (did you use real smoke of some kind, or is that a brush?) makes it all the more real.

Daaannngg. There's a lot more to this shot than meets the eye at first glance, and those are the sorts of photos that I LOVE. Perhaps it's a bit forward, but would you ever consider creating a tutorial for burn scars? My next doll will have quite a few, and these are possibly the most realistic I've seen yet!

Geh, I keep coming back to his pitted, mangled fingers. They are so. SO. Expressive and beautiful. <3!

He's got burn scars, doesn't he? It seems powerfully sad to me to see his burned hands with a cigarette in them. It's a very lonesome picture somehow. (Then again I think scars are lovely when they tell a story.) ;3

Yes, burn scars ^^ He's an involuntary fire elemental that's had alot of control issues with his abilities, he's never been happy for the result u_u
