So this is a cosplay commission that's been kicking my ass for months x__X but is finally finished -whoo @_@ /

FFXI pup.

The costume included ->

-Red silk shirt with attached hand quilted satin collar, detachable gold and silver arm bands and gold bead sleeve tags.
-Heavy weight black pants with attached hand tooled leather belt buckle details and cotton purple sash.
-Detachable hand tooled leather belt hangs [I don't know what else to call those side thingies -lol]
-black and gray rayon obi.
-boots with many hand tooled leather details.
-hand tooled leather breastplate with leather back connector and grey straps.
-gloves with hand tooled leather details.
-hand tooled leather choker.
-hat with hand tooled leather details.

OH. God. So much leather *__* and because I have no tools whatsoever, all of the tooling was done with the back of a paintbrush D: Yes, a paintbrush handle and some seriously aching fingers did all that gold detailing up there. I really, really need to get myself some actual tools so I can stop killing my hands on these sorts of things xD

That aside, I'm actually pretty happy with this one, considering all the work I put into it and that this is ony my third leather venture. I just hope my client will like it as well ^^;;

All patterning, all designs and everything was drafted, sewn and tooled by me.

very impressive!! i love the fact that you put effort into making especially the leather parts look 'used', as if the character has really been wearing it, not like i find the problem with many costumes, that they look 'artificial' as if nobody has ever worn them. would be great to see pictures of this being worn as well, since armor always looks kind of strange when it's only displayed on the model doll
