March Art Challenge : Fish
Oh. My. Goooooood @__@ I can't even believe I pulled this off. I started this at about ah... 5pm today and finished about a half hour ago. It's not exactly how I meant it, but I'm pretty damn happy with it regardless.
I've haven't drawn so much background in one sitting in years D: In doing this, I remembered why ->I'm too lazy and impatient to do that kind of detailing on a regular basis <_< But I wanted to draw a scene that I know prolly happens quite often, Lan sitting by one of the koi ponds on Sashi's property, just feeding the fishes [kind of went literal with the theme, but I'm good with that]. I haven't drawn Lan yet beyond the chibis I do of him here and there, and since this month was the reset of my last month's combining, it's Angel Hunt's turn so he got the set.
I also felt the need to draw him without his bandages because his scars are pretty. He's like this alot when it's just himself and Sashi, just relaxed and feeling no need to bind his skin away.
His pose took me forever and I'm still iffy about it [I always am when it comes to anatomy] but his toes -oh, I can't tell you how happy I am with them. I had to keep sticking my own foot up and crouch over to see how it looked xD
Let me just say, perspective is hard... for me anyway, it's why I usually default on profile stances. Apparently I felt the need to try and work on that at the last minute with this one. Go me? Eventually I plan to color this, I just ran out of time [plus, I'm sick right now and my brain can't handle more than the inks *_*]
Both Lan and Angel Hunt belongs and is copyright to me. Sashi mentioned there belongs to *evphaedrielle
